On the sixteenth edition of Brunch With The Brits Matt starts us off with "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again," otherwise known as Radio Prune. This was the pilot episode for The BBC Home service from 1964 and features the well known voice of John Kleese. It's really a jumping off point for Monty Python and the presentation of skits will remind some of Pythons' later albums. The Radio Prunes team were all Cambridge students together and were responsible for the occasional Cambridge Circus Spotlight Review heard on Home Service. After we've laughed a bit we return to a well loved detective as we debut "Battle For Inspector West" and the first episode "Honeymoon Spells Nightmare." Sound familiar? For those of you who have been reading our press releases and paying attention it was what Matt had thought he'd play when he was in Kansas. Well he's playing it now. Michael Grant a well known business man is newly married and on his honeymoon in Dorsett. What his new wife doesn't know is that he's been involved with his father in some shady blackmailing. There's a new villain an Alsatian dog and Roger West is on the case. We'll say this much this time, Sir Guy and the yard are behind him on the way. Fred then takes us back to the Roman Empire with the second episode of Falco, the Roman detective who is hot on the trail of an illegal precious metal deal. Then get ready for a few more chuckles from another favorite panel show, "My Word." The cast is up to their usual antics with stories and jokes while trying to correctly define the words they are give by moderator Jack Longland.
