Next Time on Memory Lane…

05/01/2008 - 19:00

As we stroll down Memory Lane this time, most of you will probably think I made a wrong turn somewhere. But that’s not the case. Tonight we will travel across the big pond and wind up in South Africa. First off, will hear an episode of a show called Walk Softly Peter Troy titled “Pandora’s Boxer” from September 22nd, 1964. Things begin to happen when Pandora Best’s boyfriend, Jay Reeves, receives a death threat and Peter agrees to protect him. This particular program was recorded in Australia for broadcast in South Africa and was later rebroadcast by the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service.

Staying in South Africa, we will listen to an episode of everyone’s favorite FBI agent, Lee Masters, in The Sounds of Darkness, and the Episode “The Face Of Death” from March 24th, 1970. Lee Masters lost his eye-sight in a gun battle, but because of his high skill level, the FBI decided to retain him rather than retire him. Working in the capacity of a consultant, Lee, and his eyes Johnny, fight crime all over the world. So sit back, prop up your feet if you care too, and poor yourself a tall cool drink and relax and enjoy enjoy
