Well, it isn’t often that we have the chance to showcase someone from the music field for an hour. But we’ll have that opportunity this Thursday at Radio Out Of The Past.
This time we salute Burl Ives as we take a look at his extensive radio career.
We’ll hear him in a play called: “Liberation” from 11/2/1944.

He starred in his own syndicated show for Philco for several years.
One evening Bing Crosby dropped over and they had the chance to sing together.

“The Burl Ives show” from 04/04/1947 Bing Crosby guests.

Finally Burl Ives returned the favor almost three weeks later.
