This week, our Presenter isRon Bond.
Let us read what Ron will be playing for us.
Hi all,
This week, Ron Bond debuts on Thursday nights with two shows featuring actors who double.
Most character actors double so normally, this wouldn’t be such a big deal.
But in this case one of the actors was the star of the show and the other a co-star.
First we’ll hear “Frontier Gentleman” from 06/08/1958 episode 19 starring John Dehner in Belljoy’s Prisoner.
Next we’ll hear Parley Baer in “Gunsmoke” from 07/20/1958 Episode 328 Marshal Proudfoot.

Let us read what Matt will be playing for us.
This time on Cruising The Classics as promised, we’ll continue with our look at the work of Nathaniel Hawthorne. This time a full hour adaption of The House Of The Seven Gables. This novel among others influenced HP Lovecraft and had many English critics comparing it with Jane Eyre.
Herman Melville himself wrote Hawthorne at its 1851 publishing that it was his best work. The story is considefred Gothic fiction and involves a cursed family after a man is wrongly accused during the Puritanical witch trials of the late seventeenth century. We’ll be going back to June 13 of 1974 to listen to the CBS Radio Mystery Theater. I promise your body will have time to stop shivering during the nostalgic commercial breaks. After the rpresentation I’ll be in for questions aand thoughts. Looking forward to Thursday Matt Cox host
